2026 Solemn Investiture in Mannheim, Germany

The 2026 investiture of the Grand Priory of Germany took place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, in Mannheim. Despite the approaching Whitsun weekend, the congregation were able to hold a lovely and dignified event in an intimate setting, with a total of 12 postulants and members for promotion. Following the arrival of the participants, the members and guests enjoyed coffee and cake, which provided an opportunity for conversation and preparation for the investiture.
During this year’s investiture, the Grand Prior of the Order, HE the Chevalier Peter Neuen, welcomed one new sister and five new brothers into our Order; one other brother, who was also scheduled to be inducted, was unfortunately unable to attend. One brother was promoted to the rank of "Commander (CLJ)," and another was dubbed a "Knight of Grace of the Order (KLJ)."
As the highlight of the investiture, a brother was installed and sworn in as Commander of the newly established Commandery of Bavaria, thereby officially bringing the new Commandery into operation. Afterward, the congregation shared a dinner, which offered ample opportunity for personal conversation, the strengthening of bonds, and an exchange among peers. The Grand Prior would like to thank all the sisters and brothers whose efforts and participation contributed to the success of this event!
