New Grand Prior of Kosovo Appointed

The Sixth International Lazarite Symposium which was held in October 2026 was also the setting for the appointment of the new Grand Prior of Kosovo of the Order. The Supreme Grand Priory had earlier this year announced, in the Austin TX Investiture held in August, that the Chevalier Alban Hoti KLJ has been unanimously approved as the Grand Prior Elect of the Grand Priory of Kosovo.

Thus, during the international Lazarite Symposium, Grand Prior-Elect the Chevalier Hoti was appointed as Grand Prior of the Grand Priory of Kosovo by the Grand Chancellor of the Order, HE Dr Massimo J Ellul.

The Chevalier Hoti is a Founding Member of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Kosova and a successful entrepreneur with interests in Kosovo and Florida in the United States.

The Supreme Grand Priory congratulates the Kosovar team of Lazarites led by Confrere Alban and looks forward to initiatives and projects from this jurisdiction.
