Closing the 30th Anniversary commemoration of the United Grand Priories worldwide at the 34th Solemn Investiture of the Grand Priory of Malta

Finally! Done and dusted. The culmination of this year's 30th anniversary celebrations worldwide of the Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem was the magnificent 34th solemn investiture ceremony which was held in Malta. The ceremony featured distinguished guests from 15 different jurisdictions and a packed congregation including 42 postulants who joined the Order during the ceremony.

The investiture service was led by the Supreme Grand Prior HIRH Sandor Habsburg-Lothringen, the Archduke of Austria; Commander (Ret) of the South African Navy Steven Groneveld in his capacity as Grand Secretary; Peter Neuen (Germany), the Grand Marshal of the Order; and the Grand Chancellor, HE Massimo Ellul. The investiture was also amilestone accomplishment with nearly four hundred and fifty thousand Euros which were donated for Hospitaller and philanthropic initiatives in favour of the vulnerable and the under-privileged.
