Delegation from the United Grand Priories visit Her Excellency the President of Malta

A deputation consisting of the highest officials of the St. Lazarus Foundation and the Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem paid a courtesy visit to Her Excellency the President of the Republic of Malta on the thirtieth anniversary since the founding of the United Grand Priories in London in 1995. The fact that the Grand Chancellery of the Order is based in Malta necessitates that the synergy between the state and our chivalric organisation are always at their level best.

The Grand Officers of the Order and delegations from 15 different jurisdictions were introduced to her Excellency who addressed the delegation. The Supreme Grand Prior of the Order, HIRH Sandor Habsburg-Lothringen, thanked Her Excellency on behalf of the international deputations and promised more Hospitaller and philanthropic work in the years to come. Most importantly, he promised her financial support for the Malta Community Chest Fund which she chairs and which is responsible for supporting individuals and entities to improve their health, quality of life, and their general well-being.
